Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions is seeking Mammography Technologists to support the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, CA. This full-time role includes Diagnostic Mammography imaging for VA patients, with on-call shift coverage and multiple schedules.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT(M) certification, BLS, a CHEA/JCERT‑accredited program, and at least two years of recent mammography experience in a Level 1 hospital setting; VA experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program.
• ARRT(M) certification is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of two years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Mammography Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting.
• Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months.
• Prior VA experience is desirable.
• No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provides Diagnostic Mammography Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC.
• Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients.
• Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques.
• Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging, including diagnostics mammography and breast imaging.
• Performs related administrative tasks.

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Mammography Technologists to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services to be provided include the full range of Diagnostic Mammography Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including call shift. Multiple shift schedules with on‑call service are available.

Full‑time, travel, and per‑dime candidates are considered for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.

Pay Range

$52.16 – $107.90 hourly
