Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent; graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• Certification: CPR certification; ARRT required.
• Licenses: IEMA
• Experience: 3–5 years Mammography; 1–2 years supervisory preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and computer skills; proficient with word processing; 25–35 wpm typing.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist.
• Maintain quality control on equipment per ACR standards.
• Maintain supplies and scheduling for department staff.
• Schedule staff and manage schedules; adapt to day-to-day issues.
• Explain procedures with tact and obtain additional imaging when needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and IT issues and escalate as necessary.

## Mammography Technologist LeadApply: EVH Evanston Hospital: Full time: Posted Today: R48365**Hourly Pay Range:**$41.69 - $64.62 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:**• **Position:** Mammography Technologist Lead• **Location:** Evanston Hospital• **Full Time/Part Time:**Full time• **Hours:** Days 7-3:30• **Required Travel:** Yes**What you will do:**· Perform specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist.· Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures. · Maintain monthly budget constraints and perform yearly budgetary projections.· Perform quality control on Equipment according to the ACR standards.· Maintain supplies needed throughout department.· Scheduling staff and maintaining schedule updates.· Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.· Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.· Explains procedures with tactful manners when there is a need for additional imaging.· Trouble shoots day to day issues with equipment and scheduling, and escalates equipment and IT issues appropriately.· Maintains a calm demeanor when patients are escalated and works toward resolving issues.**What you will need:**• **Education:**High School degree or equivalent.
