Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will perform mammography, Dexa, and related imaging while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes accurate image acquisition, patient education, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes. This position is on-site within IL locations and requires ARRT Mammography certification and IEMA accreditation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT Mammography certification is required.
• IEMA Accreditation is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout imaging process and post-procedure care.
• Produce diagnostic-quality mammography and DEXA images per protocols.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Coordinate exam flow and ensure timely documentation and charging accuracy.
• Perform breast screening exams, diagnostic mammograms and Dexa scans as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and assist with patient positioning and transport as needed.
