Job summary

FlexStaff is seeking Mammography Technologists for our client, in their health care centers throughout the metropolitan area, including Manhattan, NY. Shifts are 8:00am-4:00pm with evening and Saturday availability required.

Responsibilities include patient prep, protocol execution, image acquisition, QA, and documentation in PACS/RIS. Candidates must hold NY license, ARRT Mammography, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 2 years of experience, with GE PACS and EPIC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Current New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Mammography certification (ARRT (M)).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography or radiology.
• Experience with GE PACS and EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and execute mammography protocols according to guidelines.
• Acquire mammography and radiographic images and document in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Ensure QA, MQSA/FDA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
