Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent
• CPR certification required
• ARRT in Mammography required
• IEMA license
• Mammography experience required
• Proficiency with word processing and computer skills; typing 25-35 wpm

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Staff Radiologist, performs Mammography examinations at a level of optimum technical quality for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that will require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Mammography procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of quality care and adheres to the ACR guidelines while obtaining imaging.
• Ensures patient safety during examination.
• Explains procedures with tactful manner when there is a need for additional imaging.
• Performs specialized exams under the direction of the staff radiologist.
