Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Mammography Technologist I to provide high-quality mammography services, prepare equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include imaging, safety, data entry, patient education, and responding to contrast reactions. This role requires certification in radiology with mammography credentials and 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification required.
• State Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT registration preferred; training provided if experienced radiology technician.
• One year of mammography experience is preferred.

• Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, position patients appropriately, and evaluate image quality.
• Follow safety standards, maintain radiation safety, and complete quality assurance activities.
• Input patient data accurately into computer systems and ensure proper identification.
• Educate patients on procedures, address concerns, and promote patient-focused care.
• Respond swiftly to contrast reactions, assist with first aid, and observe patient condition during procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized radiology environment and adhere to all regulatory requirements, including MQSA and OSHA policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in shift rotations and training as needed.
