Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform general screening and diagnostic mammography and/or bone densitometry imaging under physician direction. Duties include positioning patients, operating radiology equipment, preparing rooms, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT(M) certification within 12 months, registry eligibility with registration within 180 days of hire, and a background in ALD Radiologic Science.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT(M) within 1 year of hire.
• Will consider registry-eligible graduate; must be registered within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general screening and diagnostic mammography and/or bone densitometry imaging.
