Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist to support multiple imaging facilities in the region, delivering safe, high-quality mammography and a compassionate patient experience.

The role involves performing exams, positioning patients, and ensuring image quality while maintaining strict infection control and privacy standards. You will train new team members and provide clear pre- and post-exam instructions to patients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and Mammography experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography exams following physician orders and protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Gather patient history, explain procedures, and minimize anxiety using AIDET communication.
  • Position patients correctly, operate equipment safely, and review images for quality and completeness.
  • Maintain equipment, adhere to infection control guidelines, and perform QC tests per accreditation standards.
  • Accurately label, document, and store images; ensure proper documentation and charge capture.
  • Support patient privacy, assist with transfers, and contribute to a clean, well-stocked suite.
  • Provide pre- and post-exam instructions, elevate questions, and train new team members as needed.
  • Communicate professionally within a fast-paced team, demonstrating strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety.
