Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support peers, and facilitate smooth patient flow on-site. Flexibility to work shifts and at other campuses as needed, with troubleshooting and QA participation, is required.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT Radiography and Mammography credentials, Texas MRT license, and BLS, with at least 1 year in medical imaging and mammography. 8 AM–5 PM, full-time, on-site in Texas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of medical imaging experience required.
• 1 year of mammography experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS competencies and adheres to core values.
• Promotes staff growth and engagement and supports radiologists and physicians.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Maintains imaging quality and stores exams in PACS.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports to management.
• Performs exams to assist patient throughput within licensure scope.

Radiography (R) by ARRT required

Mammography (M) by ARRT required within 1 year

State Licensure required

BLS required
