Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Mammographer to perform specialized imaging procedures that support radiologists in diagnosis and treatment. You will participate in direct patient care, quality and safety initiatives, and ensure safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

Role requires state licensure/fluoroscopy permit, ARRT certification, and advanced mammography credentials, plus travel to multiple imaging facilities and RIS/HIS experience.

Qualifications

  • Licensure/permit required by state for fluoroscopy.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Advanced certification in Mammography.
  • Current experience as a radiology technologist.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
  • Ability to travel to all imaging facilities.
  • Experience in HIS/RIS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specialized radiographic imaging procedures to assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in direct patient care and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.
  • Follow facility policies and regulatory requirements in imaging workflows.
  • Assist with radiology information systems (RIS/HIS) as needed.
