Job summary

Premier Health Partners in Dayton is seeking a Mammography Technologist to independently perform mammographic procedures, ensure image quality, and coordinate patient flow in the Huber Heights Medical Imaging unit.

The role requires ARRT registrations (R) and (M) within 12 months, ODH licensure, and a BLS Heartsaver within 30 days of hire. An associate degree in Radiologic Technology with completed mammography coursework is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and completion of mammography registry courses.
• BLS Heartsaver within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT (R) registry is required.
• ARRT RT (M) registry is required within 12 months.
• ODH licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic-quality mammographic procedures ordered by physicians.
• Obtains clinical history and correlates data with the procedure.
• Implements screening and safety measures and performs QC as required.
• Assists Radiologist in procedures and during emergencies.
• Coordinates patient care to optimize time and satisfaction.
• Educates patients about the exam and procedures.
• Maintains records and ensures proper documentation and billing.
• Maintains knowledge of emergency equipment locations and use.
• Follows radiation safety policies.
