Job summary

FlexStaff is seeking Mammography Technologists for our client in health care centers throughout the New York metropolitan area. Bronx locations offer several shift options. Evening and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, protocol execution, image acquisition, QA, and HIPAA compliance. Candidates must hold NY licensure, ARRT Mammography, a Bachelor's degree, and 2+ years of experience with GE PACS and EPIC.

Qualifications

• Current NY license to practice radiologic technology.
• ARRT Mammography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient data and imaging orders, interpreting requisitions accurately.
• Execute mammography and X-ray protocols per department guidelines.
• Maintain infection control and Universal Precautions for patient safety.
• Adhere to administrative policies including HIPAA and patient rights.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers.
• Assist with patient positioning and comfort during exams.
