Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography imaging procedures under supervision of the Chief Mammography Technologist, Director of Radiology, Chairman, or Manager.

The role requires graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT mammography certification within 2 years, NH licensure, and BLS certification, with compliance to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT Registration with Mammography certification required within 2 years of hire.
• NH licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs Mammography diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in accordance with scope of practice and departmental standards.
• Assesses patient information, prepares and educates patient for procedures and expectations.
• Completes documentation of patient care and procedure.
• Utilizes hospital and departmental information systems and equipment.
• Maintains productivity, adaptability and timeliness to meet patient care and department needs.
• Adheres to department policies and safety protocols.
• Participates in department meetings, modality meetings and committee initiatives.
• Completes hospital, department and professional requirements.
• Contributes to continuous improvement aligned with management and organizational goals.

JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program

ARRT Mammography certification within 2 years of hire

NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure
