Job summary

UCLA Health in Westlake Village, CA is recruiting a Breast Imaging Technologist to produce diagnostic breast images using mammography equipment. You will educate patients, prepare supplies, and support radiology staff in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Radiologic Technology degree approved by the AMA, a mammography license, and 1–2 years in breast imaging. You will rotate across UCLA Health Breast Imaging Centers and work variable shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the AMA.
• Mammography license required.
• 1–2 years of Breast Imaging experience preferred.
• Will float between UCLA Health Breast Imaging Centers and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic breast images using mammography equipment.
• Educate patients prior to examinations and prepare supplies.
• Maintain sterility and follow QA procedures; MQSA data tracking.
• Assist Radiologist as needed and protect patient confidentiality.
• Maintain professional demeanor with patients and staff.
