Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Per Diem/Day Shift in Medford, OR. Working hours are 7:30am–5pm with no weekend shifts, performing mammography exams and using specialized equipment to produce high-quality images while addressing patient needs.

The role requires Oregon Radiographer licensure, ARRT credentials in Radiography and Mammography, and BLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilizes mammography equipment to produce optimal images considering patient needs.
• Maintains quality images and adheres to safety and scope of practice.
• Supports patient comfort and safety during procedures.
