Requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS; advanced mammography certification is required within 18 months of hire; CDL is preferred for mobile unit roles.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and state licensure; BLS required.
• Within 18 months of hire, must obtain advanced mammography certification.
• CDL preferred for roles supporting mobile unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed procedures by following orders; uses independent judgment.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and care.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation for interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures as applicable.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control; troubleshoots as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality of information.
• Ensures efficient department workflow and manages supplies.
