The South Bend Clinic is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a day shift (32 hours weekly), Monday through Friday, at the Eddy Street location in South Bend, IN. The role involves preparing patients and rooms, performing mammography procedures, and ensuring documentation and QC compliance.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT Registered Technologist status, Indiana Radiologic Technologist license, and Mammography certification; strong computer, communication, and teamwork skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT registered radiologic technologist with Indiana license and mammography certification.
• Proficient in general radiology procedures and digital radiography systems (RIS/PACS).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused service.

Aufgaben

• Prepares paperwork for exams and presents to Radiologist.
• Prepares room and patient for exam; explains procedure and gathers history.
• Keeps room stocked and notifies Front Desk if supplies are needed.
• Participates in QC program for FDA/MQSA requirements.
• Maintains CEUs and license; documents in mammo book.
• Takes initiative to assist in department and maintain scheduled times.
• Performs duties of General Radiology Technologist when needed.
• Digitizes/scans films and imports studies into PACS from E-Film.
• Requests prior films for comparison; locates and hangs prior mammography films.
• Exhibits computer systems knowledge as needed to perform job functions.
• Adheres to HIPAA and clinic policies.
