Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to join our radiology team. You will produce high-quality mammography images, prioritize patient safety, and educate patients about procedures.

The role requires ARRT Mammography, an NJ license, and at least two years of mammo experience. You will work with Radiologists to verify orders, document patient data in PACS, and comply with ALARA and QA/QC requirements across the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
• Advanced registry in Mammography is required.
• Current NJ State Radiographer License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2+ years’ experience performing Mammography.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality mammography images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety with proper exposure and protective measures.
• Educate patients and explain procedures clearly.
• Obtain and document patient history and demographics in PACS.
• Communicate with Radiologists and verify orders.
• Adhere to infection control standards and ALARA principles.
• Perform QA/QC as mandated by ACR/MQSA and follow departmental protocols.
