Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Mammography Technologist 1 to perform breast imaging under radiologist supervision, following established protocols. The role emphasizes patient communication, safety, and precise imaging in both ambulatory and hospital settings.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, ensuring accuracy of exposure factors, maintaining equipment, and adhering to infection-control standards while documenting all relevant information for imaging records.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• ARRT-M Mammography (ARRT-M)
• ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Medical Radiologic Tech license by Texas Medical Board (MRT)

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality Breast Imaging procedures per exam protocol.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
• Screens patients and documents requisitions, history and shielding details.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet standards and cleans as required.
