Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a premier women's imaging center in Kendall, FL. The role focuses on high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols using Hologic systems in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting.

You will verify orders, position patients, and assist radiologists with breast biopsies, while maintaining strict safety and infection control standards in a busy, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.)
• ARRT Mammography Certification (M)
• Current State Radiologic Technologist License
• Current Mammography Certification
• Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations following established imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort while delivering compassionate, personalized care throughout each procedure.
• Verify patient identity, physician orders, medical history, and prior imaging studies.
• Position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality images while minimizing repeat exams.
• Operate and adjust Hologic mammography equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Assist radiologists during breast biopsy procedures when required.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and maintain equipment performance standards.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms while adhering to infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with regulatory and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
