Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR, is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time day shift. You will perform mammography examinations, ensure image quality, and tailor imaging to each patient's needs according to physician orders.

Required qualifications include Oregon Radiographer License, ARRT in Radiography and Mammography, and BLS through the American Heart Association; six months to achieve Mammography certification may be provided.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Utilizes a variety of mammography equipment to produce optimal images.
• Accounts for patient age-related needs and ensures image quality for diagnosis.
