Job summary

Banner Imaging in Glendale, AZ, is hiring a Mammography Technologist for day shifts. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, and you may train in scanner QC and stereotactic biopsy exams. The role supports a busy imaging department and requires strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Requires national ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Advance certification in Mammography required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed mammography procedures following orders and policies.
• Educates patients/families about procedures and expectations.
• Produces high quality images and maintains documentation.
• Demonstrates competence in related radiology procedures as applicable.
• Performs equipment QC and troubleshoots to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct in all interactions.
• Ensures efficient workflow and inventory to avoid service interruptions.
