Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Radiology required.
• Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Registered Technologist; Mammography preferred.
• Experience: Mammography work experience 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for procedures.
• Take verbal orders from physician.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic mammography studies.
• Prints film or burns CDs and matches with paperwork for interpretation.
• Assist in quality improvement programs in the department.
• Assist in training new personnel in hospital procedures.
• Instructs radiologic technology students in positioning, technique, and film critique.
• Document patient mammogram services in charting.
