Job summary

Tal Healthcare seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including mammography, in a state-of-the-art facility. You will review documentation, calibrate equipment, and support procedural administration to ensure patient care quality.

The ideal candidate has college education with ASRT certification and CT state license, and prior mammography experience is highly advantageous in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education and national certification preferred.
• Licensed radiologic technologist with mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including mammography, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Review documentation related to procedures for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in maintenance and cleaning of radiographic equipment and perform preventive inspections.
• Coordinate resources to manage radiographic procedures and optimize workflow.
• Calibrate and warm up equipment to prepare for patient imaging.
• Support administrative duties related to patient procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including mammography, ensuring high-quality imaging compliant with established policies and procedures.
• Review all documentation related to procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of radiographic equipment, performing preventative visual and manual inspections.
• Coordinate resources efficiently to manage radiographic procedures and optimize workflow.
• Conduct equipment calibration and warm-up procedures to prepare for patient imaging.
• Procure necessary supplies and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Support administrative duties related to patient procedures and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven interest in patient care and satisfaction.
• Operating knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including mammography.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster supportive relationships with colleagues, staff, and physicians.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving procedures.
• Demonstrated professionalism in following directions from medical personnel.
• College degree, ASRT (RT)(R)(M) certification, and a CT State License are preferred
• Prior experience in mammography and radiography is highly advantageous.
