RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will operate mammographic equipment, ensure high-quality images, and support patients throughout the exam in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT(R)(M) certification, a state license in diagnostic radiologic technology, BLS certification, and preferred experience in diagnostic imaging. On-site responsibilities include maintaining patient privacy and safety while delivering

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices per policy.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly with strong patient care.
• Adjust equipment settings (compression, KvP, Mas, grid, AEC) for quality images.
• Monitor patient well-being and respond to discomfort or issues.
• Guide patients through procedures and answer questions about exams.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.

You Will:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(M) certification
