Job summary

Inland Imaging Pasco Imaging Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate dedicated mammography equipment and perform radiologic procedures. The role requires MT/R alignment with ACR and Inland Imaging guidelines, ensuring high-quality exam results under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include performing mammograms to ACR standards, patient positioning, and completing exam documentation.

Qualifications

  • AA degree in radiologic technology required or equivalent on-the-job experience to pass ARRT (R)
  • WA State Certified Radiologic Technologist License must be maintained
  • MQSA compliant: 15 mammography CME’s in last 36 months; 200 mammograms in last 24 months; 40 hours digital mammography training; 8 hours tomo training

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic studies per ACR standards
  • Obtain appropriate views per radiologist/department protocol
  • Position patients to obtain high-quality mammogram exams
  • Complete paperwork, coding for billing, and patient data tracking
  • Maintain clean, stocked work areas and comply with HIPAA and safety policies
  • Rotate to other shifts/locations as needed

Base Pay Range:$32.66 - $48.99Job Description:The Mammography Technologist is a Full Time, Regular position working Monday through Friday, day shift hours at our Inland Imaging Pasco Imaging Center.Summary: Responsible for the operation of dedicated mammography equipment to perform radiologic procedures. Typical duties including operating equipment, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Responsible for obtaining the highest quality radiological exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a radiologist per established ACR and Inland Imaging guidelines and protocols.Essential Duties/Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent on the job experience required necessary to pass the ARRT (R)Experience:One to three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist – desiredMQSA Compliant (15 mammography specific CME’s within last 36 months; 200 mammograms performed within the last 24 months; 40 hours of initial digital mammography training; 8 hours initial training in additional mammographic modality used (tomo)Anatomy and medical terminologyUnderstanding of mammography examsLicensure: Must maintain current Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist LicenseCertifications: Registered AART (R), (M) CertificateMust pass ARRT (M) boards within 12 months of Technologist being trained, working independently and signed off with a current competency checklistCurrent CPR/BLS requiredComputer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook; Microsoft Office Suite; Qgenda; Workday; Medicalis: PACS; MagView; Internet/Intranet, WebexBackground Check:Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adultsIn order to comply with provisions set forth in Sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act, all new employees of Inland Imaging Clinical Associates, LLC will be checked against the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
