Job summary

MOHR Talent in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a premier diagnostic imaging center, performing screening and diagnostic mammography with focus on patient safety, comfort, and image quality.

The role requires board certification, state license, ARRT, ARRT-M, with 3+ years' experience; training is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with some evenings and Saturdays. Equipment is Hologic. Competitive compensation includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• Current State License.
• Current ARRT certification.
• ARRT Mammography Certification (ARRT-M).
• 3+ years of mammography experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to position patients and adjust mammography equipment according to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using established positioning and imaging protocols.
• Operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality breast images and identify potential areas of concern.
• Obtain and review patient history, previous imaging records, and supporting documentation when available.
• Verify patient identity and confirm imaging orders based on the physician's prescription.
• Properly position patients and adjust mammography equipment to obtain required imaging angles.
• Provide a comfortable, professional, and supportive experience for patients throughout procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms before and after procedures while maintaining sterilization and safety protocols.
• Assist with breast biopsy procedures as needed.
• Perform required quality control procedures on mammography equipment.
• Work closely with Radiologists to maintain image quality and minimize repeat procedures.
• Notify the appropriate clinical or radiology team of potential concerns when appropriate.
• Maintain efficient procedure turnaround times while ensuring quality and patient safety.
• Follow all infection-control policies and procedures.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a premier diagnostic imaging center dedicated to providing a personalized, comfortable, and high-quality patient experience.

The Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality images are provided to Radiologists to identify potential abnormalities. This individual will follow established imaging protocols and maintain a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, image quality, and accuracy throughout each procedure.

The facility utilizes Hologic mammography equipment, a leading technology platform in women’s imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certification required
• Current State License
• Current ARRT certification
• ARRT Mammography Certification (ARRT-M)
• 3+ years of relevant mammography experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to properly position patients and adjust mammography equipment according to established imaging protocols

Schedule & Availability

Initial training will be Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Candidates must have flexibility to work later hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, when the center may remain open until 8:00 PM, with the final patient appointment scheduled at approximately 7:00 PM.

Some Saturday availability is also required.

Equipment

Experience with Hologic mammography equipment is highly relevant, as the facility utilizes Hologic technology for women’s imaging.
