Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Lisle, IL. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammography using specialized X-ray equipment and working with radiologists to interpret results.

The ideal candidate will hold a current state license or certificate, have 1 year of Mammography experience preferred, and demonstrate strong communication with patients. CPR and health certifications may be required by contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum license or certificate required in the state of work.
• 1 year of experience as Mammography Technician preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Location: Lisle, IL

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technicalactivities associated with the performance of screening and diagnosticmammography procedures. The MammographyTechnologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breasttissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detectbreast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment andsurvival.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current License or Certificate in state where they will beworking
• One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technicianpreferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to accuratelycommunicate with patients
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
