Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a contract opportunity. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies and localizations, and DEXA scans.

Join a team focused on early detection, patient comfort, and high-quality imaging. The on-site schedule is weekdays with generous onboarding and credentialing support from Protouch Staffing.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of current Mammography Technologist experience.
Proficient in stereotactic breast biopsies, localizations, and diagnostic/screening mammography.
Strong technical skills and excellent patient care and communication.

Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols.
Perform stereotactic breast biopsies and localizations.
Conduct DEXA examinations to assess bone density.
Position patients appropriately and ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
Explain procedures to patients, promote comfort, and maintain patient safety throughout examinations.
Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and examination areas.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with applicable imaging standards and protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate diagnoses.

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mammography Technologist for an exciting contract opportunity in Houston, Texas!

We are looking for a knowledgeable imaging professional with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies and localizations, and DEXA examinations.
