Job summary

Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including breast ultrasound, cyst aspirations, core biopsies, and localization procedures, within the Breast Center. MQSA and quality control duties are required.

The role supports imaging services across neonate to geriatric populations, under general supervision, with a 8-hour day shift and a pay range of $49–$72 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year experience in diagnostic radiographic procedures across neonate, pediatric, adolescent and adult populations.
• BCLS (CPR for Health Care Provider) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures according to department protocols across specified patient populations.
• Complete required MQSA and quality control documentation.

Position Summary

Under general supervision, performs all routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedure within the scope of the Breast Center, including breast ultrasound, ultrasound guided cyst aspirations and core biopsies, localization and galactography procedures, and the required MQSA, Quality Control procedures.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Qualifications

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• One year experience in all areas where routine diagnostic radiographic procedures are provided to include geriatric, adult, adolescent and neonate patient populations o r s tudent with clinical rotation completed at the hospital.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• BCLS (CPR for Health Care Provider) required.
