AMI is seeking a Full-time Mammography Technologist to join the Brick Women’s Center office in Brick, NJ. This outpatient radiology role requires ARRT Mammography certification, NJ licensure, and CPR/BLS.

You will perform mammography exams, ensure safety, and assist with patient flow and documentation using the department's information systems. Training and opportunities for growth are provided in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by ARRT with Mammography certification.
• Current New Jersey Radiologic Technologist license.
• AHA/CPR/BLS certification required prior to start.
• Dexa experience preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care.

Job description

AMI is seeking a Full time, 40 hour per week Mammography Technologist to join the team in the Brick Women's Center office location! Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.The Mammography Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:Performs mammography examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department.Utilizes instructional information and methods as established by the management.According to office policy, provides for the safety, health and well-being of all patients, visitors and co-workers. Becomes familiar with and ready to respond to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice.Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily.Provides informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel assigned to the work area.Utilizes all departmental clerical equipment including computerized information system, copy machines, etc., to ensure that all required office record keeping and documentation is accurate, timely and accessible.This 40 hour per week position will be based in AMI's Brick Women's Center office location.The work schedule includes:Monday 11:30am-8pmTuesday-Friday 8:30am-5pmCoverage may be scheduled in other regional offices in Brick, Wall, and Toms River when needed.Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with Mammography certification. Candidates must have a current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of NJ. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required prior to start of employment. Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection.
