Job summary

Brine Group is partnering with a Boston teaching hospital to identify a skilled Mammography Technologist to join a respected Breast Imaging team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment that combines cutting-edge breast imaging with compassionate care and clinical excellence.

You will perform high-quality mammography, educate patients, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure safety, accuracy, and outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Massachusetts Radiology/Mammography License required.
• Strong knowledge of mammography procedures and imaging equipment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Educate patients and create a comfortable imaging experience.
• Operate and maintain mammography and radiologic equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and imaging professionals.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals focused on outstanding patient outcomes.
• Mentor and assist students and less experienced technologists as needed.

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure exceptional patient care by educating patients, addressing concerns, and creating a comfortable imaging experience.
• Operate and maintain mammography and radiologic equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals focused on outstanding patient outcomes.
• Mentor and assist students and less experienced technologists as needed.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Massachusetts Radiology/Mammography License required

Strong knowledge of mammography procedures and imaging equipment

Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred

• 2+ years of Mammography experience
• Advanced knowledge of breast imaging equipment and quality standards
• Experience working in a busy outpatient or hospital-based breast imaging environment
