Montclair Breast Center in New Jersey is seeking a Mammogram Technician to perform imaging studies, ensure patient comfort, and forward results to radiologists for interpretation.

The role offers per diem, part-time, or full-time options with responsibilities including equipment operation, patient positioning, and maintaining quality standards. A valid state license, ARRT registry, and ongoing mammography CEUs are required.

Qualifications

• Current state license and ARRT registry.
• Specialized training in mammography (CE/certificates).
• Average of 5 CEUs/year specific to mammography.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Mammography certification.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients by confirming identity and reviewing imaging requests.
• Position patients and conduct mammography study with proper compression.
• Minimize radiation exposure by following protection protocols.
• Develops mammograms and forwards studies to radiologist.
• Maintains and troubleshoots mammography equipment as needed.
• Documents patient services and maintains records.
• Stocks supplies and keeps the work area clean.
