Job summary

Radiology Forward is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our team. You will complete comprehensive training in mammography, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis, with reimbursement for courses. After certification, you may become a full-time radiology technologist.

Responsibilities include hands-on training, licensing exam preparation, and participation in projects and meetings to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Interest and ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.
• Calm, compassionate demeanor with patients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours in digital mammography (RadNet reimbursement).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet reimbursement).
• Hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.
