Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in New York. You will complete a 40‑hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours of digital mammography training, plus 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training, to prepare for the ARRT mammography registry.

Upon certification, you will transition to a full‑time radiologic technologist. The role emphasizes patient care, professionalism, and collaboration within Radiology Forward’s team‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT(R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Willingness to learn Tomosynthesis and other advanced radiology procedures.

Mammography Technologist Trainee

This position is part of Radiology Forward’s dynamic, team‑focused environment, providing quality, value, and access to patients in the 21st century. As a trainee, you will complete certification training and advance to a full‑time mammography technologist role with RadNet.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 40‑hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (RadNet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8 hours of training in Tomosynthesis (RadNet will reimburse you).
• Receive hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects or meetings and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard any onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information onsite or in patient portals.
• Be responsive to others’ needs by exhibiting professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Qualifications
