Job summary

St Mary\'s Health Care System, proudly part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Mammography Technologist PRN to cover mammography and bone density at Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging and patient confidentiality within a Catholic health system.

The position requires ARRT mammography certification with an AMA-approved radiographic technology education, and a minimum of two years mammography experience is preferred. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Advanced registry in mammography required.
• Two years mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.
• Maintains technical competency through continued education.
• Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
• Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Enters patient\'s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into Epic system.

Position Purpose:

Mammography Technologist PRN position with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA

What you will do:

• Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration : Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced registry in mammography required. Continuing education credits in Mammography required.
• Education : Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school
• Experience: Two years mammography experience preferred.
