Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic mammography with compassionate patient care. The role involves integrating scientific knowledge with patient interaction and working to provide accurate imaging results.

This PRN position supports PTO coverage during weekdays and weekends, with potential hybrid/remote opportunities based on role. Training and development are emphasized across multiple modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification in Mammography.
• ARRT registered and Mammography registry.
• Completed required CEU’s to ensure Certification remains active.
• Active state licensure, where applicable.

We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you.

Facility:Durham Diagnostic Imaging

Location: PRN Float between Independence & SouthPoint

Position Type: PRN

Work Schedule Details: As needed to cover PTO during the week and on weekends.

Responsibilities

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for the integration of scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. This responsibility includes completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certification in Mammography
• ARRT registered and Mammography registry
• Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable

Prior Experience

• 0 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

Special Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields.
