Job summary

Midlothian-based Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, part of Methodist Health System, is seeking a Mammography Technologist. The role focuses on high-quality mammography procedures and assisting Radiologists in special procedures for early breast cancer detection.

The position requires ARRT certification and MQSA compliance, BLS, and Texas certification, with a preference for 1 year of work experience. PRN shifts and flexible days support patient access to imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT (M) or ARRT (R) certification; if ARRT (M) not held, must obtain within 1 year of orientation.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred.
• If only ARRT(R), employee will be required to obtain ARRT(M) license within 1 year of orientation.

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you‘ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (M)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
