Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services including ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.

Requirements include MQSA-compliant radiologic technology training, BLS certification, ARRT (R) and ARRT (M)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program; MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT (M) certification; ARRT (R) certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year required.
• ARRT (R); license upgrade to ARRT (M) within 1 year of orientation.

Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.
