Job summary

SSM Health Outpatient Surgery Center - Kisker Road in Missouri is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to provide mammography imaging services and stereo procedures as needed. The role requires completion of a Radiology Technology program and ARRT-R and ARRT-M credentials, plus BLS HCP certification.

Schedule is 24 hours per week during the day, with a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. Department: Imaging; 4207030002 Mamm/Bone Dens OPC-K.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential.
• ARRT-M Mammography credential.
• BLS HCP - American Heart Association.
• ARRT-BD Bone Density - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Radiologic Technologists – Temporary Accreditation - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and performs mammography procedures, prepares and positions patients, sets parameters.
• Educates patients on the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Ensures high-quality images and proper documentation in PACS.
• Maintains equipment and department cleanliness and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
