Job summary

Trinity Health Idaho is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures in Medical Imaging. You will maintain patient and procedure documentation and ensure high-quality exams.

You will also keep equipment knowledge current and communicate effectively with patients of varying ages and abilities, supporting Trinity Health's mission of compassionate, patient-centered care across the Idaho region.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration is required.
• Must obtain Mammography registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire.
• Three to five years of radiology experience required; prior mammography experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC or Military Training Network required at hire unless ACLS/PALS current.
• Must have active driving privileges; notify supervisor/HR if driving privileges change.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Provides skills and knowledge necessary to perform mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in the diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas of Medical Imaging in Idaho only. Maintain patient and procedure documentation. Maintains equipment and instrument knowledge pertinent to high quality exams. Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• 2. Must obtain Mammography registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire.
• 3. Three to five years of radiology experience required. Previous mammography experience preferred.
• 4. Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• 5. Must have active driving privileges. If, during the course of employment, driving privileges change or colleague receives a driving citation, the colleague is required to notify their supervisor and/or HR.
