Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Jacksonville, TX is seeking a Mammography Technician for day shift, PRN, to perform breast imaging procedures at the Breast Care Center and related sites. You will contribute to high-quality imaging and ensure patient comfort during exams.

The role requires graduation from AMA approved Radiology program, ARRT-R and Texas license, and BLS within 14 days of hire, with preferred mobile mammography experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program.
• Currently ARRT – R and Texas Department of Health Registered.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred mobile mammography experience
• Certified in Mammography, ARRT – M registered preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging.
• A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service.
• Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities and demonstrates exceptional patient service skills.
