Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Day shift. You will perform mammography exams according to physicians’ orders using advanced equipment and adapt imaging for each patient’s age-related needs to ensure high-quality results.

Qualified candidates must hold an Oregon Radiographer License, BLS, ARRT radiography, and be eligible for ARRT Mammography within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensure and certifications required for the role.
• Oregon Radiographer License required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARRT Mammography certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography exams according to physician orders using a variety of mammography equipment.
• Considers patient age-related needs and imaging factors to produce optimal images.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and patient care standards while delivering imaging services.
