Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a seasoned Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract in The Texas Medical Center, Houston. The role runs 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with pink scrub color and on-site imaging responsibilities.

You will perform exams, ensure radiation safety, manage patient data, and support QA processes. Leadership duties include mentoring junior staff and assisting with ACR accreditation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years' current Mammo Tech experience.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• ARRT registered in Radiology (ARRT-R) and Mammography (ARRT-M).
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support by the American Heart Association.
• EPIC Charting experience, Breast Biopsies, RFID.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast when necessary, and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Enter and monitor patient data and perform quality assurance on equipment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Mammography Technologist to join the Outpatient Imaging department for our client located in The Texas Medical Center (Houston 77030). This 13wk contract position, 7:00am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday). Scrub color: Pink
