Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in special procedures for early breast detection.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary imaging team, work with ultrasound, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine, and focus on patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT(M) certification - ARRT (M).
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.

Hours of Work : 8a-4:30p Days Of Week : M,T,TH,FR Work Shift : Job Description : Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.

The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (M)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year preferred
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
