Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform and evaluate mammographic and general radiological procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. You will operate mammography units independently, conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms, and assist radiologists during procedures.

Ideal candidates have a specialty training in radiologic technology and strong attention to detail, with excellent patient communication and commitment to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography units and perform various mammography exams, including special imaging.
• Produce high-quality images through proper positioning, compression, and accessory use.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensure availability of supplies, and assist radiologists.
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, addressing questions and concerns.
• Conduct quality control and maintain proper documentation and film development.
• Maintain a clean environment and ensure equipment and room readiness.
• Participate in training of students and new staff, and adhere to all regulatory and quality standards.
