Job summary

Start date ASAP, full-time, 40 hours weekly, at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center - Breast Center. The ideal candidate will have one year or more as a staff technologist, graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registry, MQSA compliance, and

Qualifications

• One year or more as a staff technologist.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Meets requirements for registry by ARRT.
• Meets the requirements of the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
• Maintains and documents continuing education requirements as required by ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammographic/radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Performs general radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable procedures as assigned.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures and provides appropriate age-specific care to neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
