Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist/Radiologic Technologist Float in Florida to perform high-quality radiologic exams and operate mammography equipment across outpatient settings.

Prospective candidates should hold ARRT(R)(M) certification and a state license, with BLS certification and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. Travel to various imaging centers is required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices per policy.
• Travel to outpatient imaging sites as needed.
• Perform high-quality radiologic exams promptly.
• Produce diagnostic images with excellent patient care.
• Adjust equipment settings (KvP, Mas, AEC, etc.) to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to issues.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.

When you join us as a Mammography Technologist/ Radiologic Technologist Float,you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Travel to Radiology Imaging Associate's various outpatient medical office setting as needed.
• Perform high quality radiologic exams on incoming patients.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(M) certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• Must have BLS certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range is $34-$45 per hour.
