Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and ensure quality controls in a multi-modality imaging department. You will report to the Imaging Director and Medical Director of Radiology, ensuring patient status is accurately reflected in imaging results.

The role requires BLS, CA CRT/AART, and Mammography Certification, with California licensure. Independent work, good follow-up, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification following American Heart Association guidelines required.
• CRT, AART, Mammography Certification required.
• Registered with the State of California.
• State of California Fluoroscopy Permit: preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to organize and maintain good follow-up.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging on patients using established medical imaging procedures.
• Reviews and evaluates quality controls and quality assurance to ensure imaging and instrumentation results are reported accurately.
• Maintains mammography services per regulatory standards.
• Operates imaging equipment and selects proper technical factors.
