Job summary

Avera is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Mammography to perform radiologic exams and imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting. The role involves determining exposure techniques, proper positioning, and ensuring image quality for radiologist interpretation.

Responsibilities include operating PACS/RIS/HIS/EMR systems, maintaining safety standards, and mentoring staff as needed. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Associate's or certificate from an accredited School of Radiology.
• ARRT registration in Radiography (R) required upon hire; Mammography (M) within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and Mammography imaging procedures accurately and according to standards.
• Determines proper exposure techniques and positions equipment for optimal breast imaging views; activates machine safely.
• Interacts with radiologist or referring practitioner for immediate attention when needed.
